   Greetings TOM!

RW>> IMO, there are good things and bad about 98SE and WME...I had
RW>> installed W98SE over W95 couple hundred years ago. I was glad to get
RW>> away from both of those when I went straight to W2k...

TW> Teh on;y problem I has with win98Se was it's louse USB support.

   Little if any.

TW> Even thouhg it was better then win95, A REAL Joke for USB support,
TW> and the origional win 98 which was a little better but still not
    TW> good.

I never went there. I went straight to SE...not by choice, but by luck as
it came with a system that I got 2nd hand.

TW> I really likes the USM suport in win ME and never had any of the
TW> problems others reported but found a good deal for win XP ant jumped
    TW> at it.

I had to do some searching, as Vista was the latest OS, but I found XP at
a place online located in San Diego. $58 for the installation disk and it
was registered to me with MS.

TW> I stil like it better than Win 7 and I have absoulty njo0 interest in
TW> the Abortion called Win 8.

I'm stuck with Vista on my laptop for now, as the LAN card was rejected by
the W7 pre-install pgm. I've also converted my Kindle Fire to use the
Android OS, which frees the Kindle up to use Google Play, so I can get all
the APPs I want there. When you get used to playing with Android, W8 seems
simpler to use. Still not ready for W8 though.
