I have a Text File in several Sub-Directories that I use to keep track       of the files in it that I have already Scanned with Malwarebytes (MWB)       and SuperAntiSpyware (SAS).              The first line of my file(s) have .LOG in it, so that anytime I open       that file, After using MWB and SAS to scan the later files in the       listing, I can then erase the older date and Save the file with the       newer date in it, as a reference point of where I should start scanning       newer file shown in the Directory (or Sub-Directory) that are listed       when I open Windows Explorer (WE) to look at what is in that Directory.              Normally I have WE Sorted by Date/Time, and there have been times I       have put many many Files and Downloads where that MY Reference File       isn't shown until I page down to find it.              Recently I looked at the files in C:\WINDOWS using WE and Sorted them       by Name and noticed that the files with names beginning with a Dollar       Sign $ character AND the Underscore _ character showed up in the       listing before any files that started with a Number or Alphabetical       character did.              So My BIG Idea was to Rename my Reference file(s) in each Directory I       have one in by putting the $_ characters at the beginning of the file       name so that I can use WE to look at the Directory Sorted by Name so I       can See the Date/Time I last updated it.              Then I Sort by Date/Time and highlight any later files and Scan them       with MWB and SAS, and then I Open my Reference file and Edit it and       then Save it, so it will be at the Top of the list the next time I use       WE to look at that Directory.       (Unless I've added more files that need to be checked).              I just thought I would share My BIG IDEA with the folks here.       Hope it might be of help to someone.              ...
