RW> TW>> Some GM cars of that era had the starter button sticking thru       RW> TW>> the fire wall just above the gas pedal.              RW> EV> Thanks Tom,              RW> EV> I forgot about that.       RW> EV> I remember seeing it done, and maybe our car started up that way.       RW> EV> Can't remember for sure.              RW>This feature mostly applied to Chevies, especially pickups.                     Some Oldsmobiles cars too. In the earlky 50's I got embarssed on a Date.       I was in the Navy stationed at Great Lakes Illinois and did not have a       car. I took the train up to Milwakee to visit a family I knew. The girl       borrowed her dads Olds so we could go on a date and she asked me to       drive. Being used to Chrysler, Ford and Pontiacs I could not find the       starter button. :-(       ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0         * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 Join Us: www.DocsPlace.org (1:123/140)    |
