   That's a matter of 'not enough antenna'...Unless you have an antenna with   
   enough gain to receive these higher frequencies (UHF channels 14 through   
   69 here), you won't receive them, period. Not to mention that a high front   
   to back ratio is more important.   
      
   Because of the flater ground in Texas, I get all available digital   
   channels in the area, even low-power digital channels. Some of them off   
   the backside of a panel reflector with dual dipoles on the 'receiving'   
   end. In your case, pointing a log-perodic at Mt Woodson might let you   
   receive bounced signals from Mt Soledad and Mt Otay.
