Most of the old Mac heads are not happy with the way Apple       has been going with this. It seems these new machines have been designed to be       throw away items.              The new top of the line 15" Retina is $2599.00 not counting the extra cost of       Apple care which is a must with these new models. I can hear Jean laughing in       the background. He has reason to laugh. ;)              We will buy a new iMac 27" for the ministry - probably this January - thanks       to my generous Son. I wasn't going to buy one but thinking ahead to what Apple       will likely do with the iMac, I figure now is the time to get one. As you       know, the 21.5" iMac is already non upgradeable and I'm afraid Apple will do       the same with the 27" models.              Regards.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunde        * Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0)    |
