   ->-> You forget WinServer... which was pretty much built for the web.

   I could not agree with you more. :)

   ->
   ->Lot of negative can be spoken about WinServer, the cost, the support for
   ->the bbs dos version, etc. But as a WebServer it is fantastic and is
   ->well supported and has been developed well over the years.

   Again, I totally agree with you here.

   ->
   ->I use as my main web server and I still run the bbs even though that
   ->portion has not been supported in years or any kind of update or
   ->development.
   ->

   I run the BBS as well as all other services (I am on a development team that I
   run a private mailing list for using the BBS and wcListServe, plus I also run
   an unofficial MultiMail mailing list using it as well) and love it.

   ->I bought the community version which was a two node system and have over
   ->time purchased up to 12 nodes. That initial cost was around 200.00, I
   ->was retired and had the money to invest. No regrets. I do regret
   ->spending so much on the annual subscription to get updates, but then
   ->again the web portion actively being developed.

   This is basically what I did, then got up to 4 nodes, then purchased Sean
   Highfield's 4 node WINServer license which brought my system up to 8 nodes,
   where it stands today.

   ->
   ->However as of late, it has slowed down to a crawl. But the WinServer
   ->web is strong also and very flexible in configuration.

   As I continue to develop and support Wildcat! quite a bit these days, I find
   my board to be quite active. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my BBS, both
   on the ANSI side as well as the web interface.

   ->
   ->My .02, hopefully I am not to bashed in the head to much.
   ->

   Nah, now why would we do a thing like that? :)

   Oh, and we should get you linked into WINSnet and DixieNet :)
