   As far as I know, the VIA_SOFT echo was shut down some time ago and I'd   
   just as soon let it die -- never liked the spelling.  I spoke with Janis   
   awhile back and we'll be creating a new one (VIASOFT_SUPPORT I believe).   
      
   With the holidays and setting up a Novell network for my BBS not to   
   mention hardware changes, I kinda got side-tracked, my appologies. But   
   I'll be doing that shortly.   
      
   Now to your question, since I have my hardware/software setup working,   
   there's no reason not to evolve the SL version as well -- same codebase   
   after all.   
      
   Hope that helps.  FWIW, I have found some issues that I'll need to   
   address before the next release (both WC and SL).
