But as i see it the BBS scene is on it's       last leg. A modern version of the BBS could repopulate our hobbies. As of 2018       there are over 29M WordPress blogs online. It's Sysops comeback time.              Facebook is dropping traffic. Folks will never trust Zuck again, no matter how       many TV ads he runs. Our data is how social media makes a profit.              The BBS scene is dying because sysops and Fidonet heads have not kept up with       tech. Wildcat / Winserver is the package to update visually to be mobile       compatable. I'm not a coder but decent in PHP and HTML. Might be able to whip       up a responsive / mobile theme for Wildcat 5. At least it's not calling up       javascript files from within it's wcx.              No need for JavaScript.. Thinking that's where Hector ran into problems with       Winserver 7 and gave up. For a BBS calling up wcx and html should be all       that's needed.              ... Just my two cents worth - don't shoot the messenger :)       --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: Fido Since 1991 | QWK by Web | BBS.DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140)    |
