I am around the 50 +/- distance and have got the distinct       impression that an outdoor antenna may not be enough. Once the "local"       broadcasters went digital, most really lowered their power ratings.              Between that at all the hills locally, you pretty much have to have cable to       get "local" TV. Supposedly, this area had one of the very first (if not the       first) cable TV "companies." One neighbor set up an antenna high enough to       pull in the distant broadcasts, and then offered to let other neighbors hook       up to it. It eventually became a municipal utility.              Mike              ---        * SLMR 2.1a * "Tryin' is the first step towards failure." - Homer                     --- GTMail 1.26         * Origin: CCO BBS * 502/875-8938 * capcity2.synchro.net (1:2320/105.0)    |
