   I agree.  Silly, annoying fanwanky nonsense from beginning to end.   
   Mind you, from what little I've heard about Gaiman's other writing,   
   "silly, annoying fanwanky nonsense" seems to be his main gimmick, so   
   it's hardly surprising he uses it here as well.
