      Rain southeast

      Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 27th November 2025
      Duty forecaster: Dan Graves

The central and west continent will see the most settled weather with
bright spells. Unsettled to the north and southeast with wind and
      rain/snow.

      Thursday
Fine and sunny in Iberia, just a few scattered showers in north Spain.
Morning showers and wind in the central Mediterranean, though easing
over the Balearics for plenty of sunshine. Unsettled in central and
south Italy with frequent showers, these merging into broader areas of
rain, at times heavy, across most of mainland Greece. Some showers too
on the Balkan coast with snow in the mountains. Only scattered showers
with bright spells in the Aegean and coastal Türkiye.
Some rain in north and central France with a strengthening
southwesterly wind north; this wind stretches across the Low Countries,
northern Germany, and into Poland; largely dry in these areas with sun
breaking out, though some morning snow in Poland. A dry and
increasingly bright day over the Alps and eastward from Austria and
Czechia to Hungary. An increasingly wet day in Bulgaria, Romania, and
      central Ukraine.
A windy day across Scandinavia. A swathe of rain will pass southwest to
northeast across Denmark and Sweden, falling as snow further north.
Snow arrives too in Finland after a dry morning, though the southeast
stays dry. Morning snow too in the Baltic States, becoming dry with
bright spells here. Rain and snow will frequent the south and north
Norwegian coasts with spells reaching inland.

      Friday
Sunny in Iberia, just some light rain in northwest Spain late in the
day. Some light showers in the Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica,
turning dry and bright. Turning fine also for much of Italy though
southern areas remain showery. Patchy rain with upland snow in the
Baltics but dry for many. Frequent showers in Greece and west Türkiye.
Milder in west France with rain in central and northern areas. Rain too
in the Low Countries and western Germany. Largely dry with good morning
sunshine across the Alps. Similarly bright early but cold from Austria
into Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland; it will turn cloudy here later.
Staying fine in Hungary. Some rain in Romania and Bulgaria.
A southwesterly wind across Scandinavia, gale force along the southwest
Norwegian coast. Rain in Finland with snow to the north, this snow
stretching into northern Sweden and Norway. Most of Sweden is dry, just
some light rain in the far south. Dry but cloudy for Denmark. Some rain
in western parts of Latvia and Estonia, drier elsewhere in the Baltic
States. Further rain and snow in southwest Norway, largely dry well
      inland in the south.
