Hey Nancy!   
      
   First attempt at archiving messages using this particular message as a   
   seed for this echo.  I should be able to apply this idea to incoming   
   messages although I'll have to add a few extra calls to split them   
   into individual messages - not that there are that many these days -   
   so that they get placed in the proper archive.  For this echo that   
   will be ASIAN_LINK.gz which employs gzip compression on the fly.   
      
   Looks great from this angle.  Almost there.  How does it look from   
   your perspective?
