Hey Jame!               JC> I thought Bash could do number conversions itself, and/or using        JC> something like bc              That isn't the same as perl's pack whereas ascii2binary is. If you do       discover a small commandline app that is along this line then please let       me know. However so far ascii2binary seems to fit the bill. I already       have a small bash script that uses ascii2binary to create a type 2 ftn       header but I haven't stress tested it yet. Got distracted with a       hardware issue on the new pure DC powered Atom that showed up on my       doorstep recently.              Stinkin' Realtek. :::sigh:::              Life is good,       Maurice              --- VIM - Vi IMproved 7.3 on x86_64-core2-linux-gnu        * Origin: Pointy Stick Society (1:261/38.9)    |
