   Hey Wilfred!

WvV> I haven't found the time yet to convert my tosser to compile
WvV> under linux. (Work is getting in the way ;)).

Yeah, right. Blame it on work. ;-)

WvV> We are writing and pronouncing the date with the day number
WvV> first, so that should be: "4 juni 2015"

I don't believe any locale formats it like the extra-special DateTime stamp on
the first line. Usually - if indeed not always - the day is numeric
characters and null padded when single digits (ie 1-9 becomes 01-09). I am
more curious about the spelling and if indeed the alpha day and months are
correct as Dutch days and months. The format I chose had nothing to do with
locales and more to do with possible translation issues.

WvV> If your system time is in UTC, it is within the second.

Yes it is UTC as well as the ftn datetime stamp in the message header, and the
system time is updated with ntpd servers at the moment so that is where my
confidence in up to the second accuracy comes from ... for now. :-)

   Life is good,
   Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
