   I have a uefi usb based slackware live system I was using for kick starting   
   drives with preinstalled systems on them.  I haven't needed it for sometime   
   now but the idea is still valid.

   Me neither but I'll probably investigate it in the near future ...   
   slackware-current that is.  I did a brief scan of ftp://mirror.c   
   club.uwaterloo.ca/slackware/slackware64-current/ recently and noted that   
   glibc-2.43 is in the testing directory.   
      
   Speaking of testing, I did manage to build the main husky project's sources   
   from github using their cmake based builds.  Beyond that I haven't tested them   
   as a potential fidonet node.  My hesitation is it looks like it is abandonware   
   as far as any serious development is concerned.  Any thoughts on this you'd   
   care to share?
