My only SysV machine is the BBS machine. It is running r12.2-10 if I remember
right and it is running fine.

My desktop and laptop are both running recent LFS-systemd versions with
glibc-2.43 and systemd-259.1. Both are running without issues, mostly.

I still have the issue with efivars and efibootmgr that I read you manged to
   build and install?

I did get efivars and efibootmgr installed on my latest laptop install but I
built them on the host which is a slightly older LFS with glibc-2.42 and then
chrooted and installed on the new install.

Same here. I have only been running systemd for a looksee. I read that LFS
13.0 will not include SysV because of issues with gnome and I think kde too.

I see a new openrc branch but I don't know what state it is in.
