Hey Ben!              It finally caught up!               BR> Works for me, but my learning curve is very steep compared to        BR> yours              Not really. I am still floored that this all works on NT. I've run       across more than a few NT based systems over the years but yours is       the first to impress me ... and I haven't actually seen it. Unreal.              Anyhow I have a +20 year head start and even with that am still       learning much about UNIX. We can easily find out if coreutils 'date'       is onboard there. Try this;               date +"%d %b %y %T"              and if that produces the usual phoney-baloney FTM MSG type output       (two digit year and all) then I say it is a go.              Life is good,       Maurice              --- GNU bash, version 4.2.10(2)-release (x86_64-atom-linux-gnu)        * Origin: Pointy Stick Society (1:261/38.9)    |
