   Hey Ben!

    BR> Probably 32-bit (Bash v2.04) PLUS yes! I have Perl v4 for DOS

   That should be alright. I don't recall much about Perl v4 but as long
   as it has the {,un}pack() functions then it should be okay. I don't
   think my shorthand {,un}pack() will work for bash v2.04 but maybe.
   It has been awhile. Anyhow I can compensate for that if needed.

    BR> Been thinking of installing cygwin to get *nix style commands

   I did that back in the 90's with DJGPP which also afforded 32 bit
   compatibilty with 16 bit DOS way back when. Sounds to me like a
   good idea short of ditching the MS garbage for a more suitable UNIXie
   enviroment with a regular gcc.

   Kids these days. :::sigh:::

   Life is good,
   Maurice
