   I just got the first disc of Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season One and   
   I got to say that I was quite impressed with it.   I think that Gene would   
   have liked it because It was more like TOS then some of the other Trek   
   efforts.   SIngle story arecs.   Character names that we know alreay and   
   some mew once we don't know or have at leaste leard of in TOS.   
      
   Unfortunally there wont be a Season 2 from Netflix because they are closing   
   their DVD Service and I don't stream so I don't know what the Netflix DVD   
   Library consists of.   
      
   Oh, the series opens with Pike watcthing the original "The Day The Earth   
   Stood Still".  And it got me to pull my copy of the movie out and watch it.   
   I forgot how much I've enjoyed that movie and also the over one and a   
   half hours of special features.   
      
   Maybe someday I'll find a streaming service where I can watch ALL the old   
   and the new current movies?
