I may not go as       far as saying he was a horrible actor but i do notice that he tends to over       act in some scenes. He tends to be over dramatic at times also. I did like him       though.        I really didnt notice the foul language in the new Star Trek shows. I am       sure it was there but it is something I usually wouldnt notice.        I really like the new Trek shows. If i had to pick my main issue is that       they have been forcing social issues into Trek. I know the counter argument is       that they have always done that over the years but i kind of like to escape       the politics of the day when watching these shows. Some of it seems forced to       me. I dont have anything against it. I just see some of it as very much       forced. One thing that sticks out to me is that they took over half an episode       as a lesson to call the one character with the "they/them" pronouns. Again, i       have no issues with anyone, i just would like these things to be an escape       from real life. I know Star Trek has a history of this and i am ok with it but       it seems forced on the new shows. Maybe it is just me. lol        I am kind of missing Trek right now. I watched Star Trek VI last night. I       cannot wait until i get more Trek. Hopefully with less F words!!! :)              LATER TREKKIES!!!! :)              DaveW              DaveW       Port of Call BBS       POCBBS.DuckDNS.org       SynchroNet - Port 2323       Renegade - Port 23       C64 Image 3.0 - Port 6400       --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32        * Origin: Port of Call Synchro - POCBBS.duckdns.org (1:135/371)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 14/0 18/0 30/0 80/1 90/1 102/127 103/705 105/81       SEEN-BY: 106/127 116/116 120/340 123/0 25 35 40 126 131 150 160 170       SEEN-BY: 123/180 190 200 257 755 129/305 134/100 135/300 366 371 379       SEEN-BY: 135/382 383 384 385 388 390 391 392 153/105 135 757 802 6809       SEEN-BY: 153/7715 218/700 221/1 6 226/30 227/114 229/101 424 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/550 700 1016 1017 240/1120 5832 249/206 317 261/38 280/464       SEEN-BY: 282/464 1038 292/854 299/6 300/4 301/0 1 101 113 123 812       SEEN-BY: 317/3 322/757 335/364 341/66 342/200 633/280 920/1 3634/0       SEEN-BY: 3634/12 15 24 27 50 119 4500/1 5058/104       PATH: 135/390 300 3634/12 153/757 221/6 301/1 229/426           |
