    Da> Hello,
Da> I actually didnt like DS9 until way after it was off the air.
Da> After finally watching it, i fell in love with it. I was not really
Da> into the "Alien of the Week" model of TNG. I did enjoy it though.

Oh I did the same thing! I wasn't into DS9 until afterward. Now I love
   it along with Voyager.

Da> What i loved about Voyager was that they were 76 years from Star Fleet
Da> and it tested their resolve in what they believe in. The Kazon were
Da> not much of a villian. They reminded me of a watered down Klingons.
Da> They did find better villians though throughout the show.

I didn't watch Enterprise until it was cancelled either. I still don't
think I have watched it all the way through, I have started it so many
times, jumped around, saw the ending once. I don't know. It has taken
some getting used to and I'll someday watch it all in one shot. :-)

Da> though. What does everyone everyone think about the new Star Trek
Da> shows like Discovery, Picard and Lower Decks. Many people have
Da> complained about them but i enjoy them very much. I think they made a
Da> good decision moving Discovery to the 31st century. I cannot wait
Da> until the next season of Picard and the Strange New Worlds with
    Da> Captain Pike.

For the new series on CBS All Access / Paramount + I just have to say
to the writers: "Buy a dictionary and a thesaurus."

This is supposed to be the "enlightened" future. I don't understand
why the writers feel it necessary to incorporate such foul language in
every episode (I'm thinking of you f-word). Seriously, it just throws me
out of the episode every time they use it. It feels forced and out of
   place in Star Trek.
