      Hello Al!

AK> If I remember from the first episode Discovery happens between

It's set 10 years before TOS. There's a reference to the Enterprise which
was in service at the time (under Captain Christopher Pike). Not many other
   things have been referenced.

AK> Saw that they will do a Mudd episode just wonder if they will "age"
AK> the characters right. You could also see the TOS charaters in their
AK> early years in Starflet or in the Academy.

There were two episodes containing Mudd. Both were... interesting. Rainn
Wilson (he played Dwight Schrute in The Office) plays the character in
Discovery, there are a few pictures online where you can compare Wilson's Mudd
   to TOS's Roger C. Carmel's Mudd. There's a definite resemblance.

AK> Done right it could be a boone to ST arc. Done wrong a disaster. It
AK> wll be an intesting few years.

I'll avoid spoilers and just say that it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it.

   Mike

... Tasha Burger: It'll come up again later after it's gone.
