   I agree. Didn't they "jump" from one ship to another (or possibly to a   
   planets surface) in one of the recent ones? No equipment or special   
   tractor beams or anything to explain it, they just jumped.   
      
   I think a good story sets up the enviroment for the plot, than stays true   
   to the environment. Otherwise the suspension of disbelief just doesn't   
   work for me.
