I guess part of my problem is that I've read most of the books which extend
   the
cannon past just the original crews (all five crews). Some of the books are
just fluff but others are really interesting and explain the origins of the
Borg (I just finished this series). I guess what I'm trying to say is that I
like these characters and want to see them continued.

P.S. Sorry for the late reply. It's summer here and I'm not paying as much
attention to the BBS as I should be. Hope you enjoy your winter.
