   Disagree with this one.  Sid is a child sadist with torture fantasies   
   that he mostly acts out on toys because at this age that's all he can   
   get away with.  You only need to see how he treats his sister to see   
   that.  To describe him as unconventional but "not wrong in any way" is   
   to obfuscate the facts to claim that the movie sent a message that it   
   clearly didn't.
