Unfortunately, there are only so many stories you can do about
somebody trying to escape and failing. If you read the two unproduced
scripts, one of them, The Outsider is a LOT like Chimes of Big Ben,
with the major details changed. Instead of an Estonian lady spy, the
outsider is a pilot whose jet crashed into the woods. Number Six
hides him, arranges an escape with him, and in the end the pilot is
working for them and brings him back. It's very well written, it's
just that we've SEEN this story before, too many times (which is
probably the reason they didn't film it).

Well, the only really comic episode was Girl Who Was Death, which I
like a lot more than I used to. It's actually quite a good episode,
it's just not a Prisoner episode. It's more like an Avengers episode
run amok. But it was an unused Danger Man script, and probably
represents the direction that that show would have gone if Number Six
hadn't resigned from playing Drake. It's a good hour of TV but I
don't think it would have worked as well as The Avengers in the long
run, just because you need a partner for that kind of humor and Drake
   never had one.

It's a nice place. I went there twice when I was living in Europe.
Spent a week there the second time.
