Yep, someone's Star Wars collectible drifted out of a wrecked
   starship!

No "Star Trek". Instead, "Lost in Space" became the mega-popular
almost cult-inspiring sci-fi series. It was followed by "Lost In
Space: The Animated Series" in 1973, "Lost in Space: The Next
Generation" in 1997, "Lost in Space: Alpha Centauri" in 1993, and
"Lost in Space: Jupiter III" in 1995. Another prequel show, which
abandoned the "Lost in Space" moniker and was just called "Jupiter I"
didn't catch on in 2001 on the failed United MGM Network. "Lost in
Space" was rebooted in 2009 with Nathan Gamble as Will Robinson.
