   But seriously, if you have a paint program with the right features,   
   you can salvage that photo.   
   Separate the photo into its RGB components, and save the B component.   
   Then take the photo again, and this time separate it into hue,   
   saturation, and luminance. Take the B component you saved before, and   
   mix it into the luminance part with 25% transparency, and recombine.   
   It still won't be perfect, but it will be significantly more   
   recognizable.
