   But maybe he decided to deliberately imitate Walter Koenig instead of   
   doing a real Russian accent for consistency with the TV series...   
   although I did see the movie in the theatre, I don't really remember   
   now _what_ his accent was like, although I probably noticed one way or   
   the other at the time.   
   Helen Mirren (also Russian) did a very good Russian accent (despite   
   usually speaking English without one) in 2010, of course.
