   Best is better than top-notch, and it's unique, and it gets its own   
   category.  Then they list but don't rank their Top 10 that weren't   
   Best.  :-)   
      
   They also didn't nominate Precious, and they didn't see Avatar.   
   So if we add those two as Oscar possibilities for its Top 10, to   
   NBR's Best and Top 10, there are 13 and at least 3 won't make   
   the Oscar cut.  Every other surprise on the Oscar nomination list   
   would have another missing the cut, so Star Trek is by no means   
   guaranteed.   
      
   NBR's Best Film has been Oscar-nominated nine of the last 10   
   years and I think it's a good majority (though not quite as high a   
   percentage) for nominees.  In other words, most of Oscar's 50   
   nominees the last 10 years appear on the NBR's longer list first.
