   Evidently your DVD is showing the episodes in the order in which they    
   were produced, NOT the order in which they were originally broadcast.   
      
   The first episode broadcast in Season 2 was "Amok Time," a strong    
   episode.  It was aired in September 1967, at the start of the season.
