   True. But I can't criticize the other actors for their attitude   
   towards Shatner - because in Shatner's own book about his   
   recollections of the series, he shows what has been going on. Jealousy   
   because he was the star is one thing. But his betrayal of a confidence   
   from Nichelle Nichols, so that it would sell his book rather than   
   hers, and his wide-eyed "Who, me?" attitude to why on Earth she should   
   be annoyed with this, shows what he was - as narcissistic as a two-   
   year-old, never really having connected to the fact that other people   
   are real persons.   
   As I say, I didn't come to this conclusion from Nichols' book, or   
   Takei's book, or any of the other actors' books - but from reading   
   what Shatner wrote himself, where he gave himself away.
