   Drop the whole Reman thing and drop the whole clone thing.   
      
   Stick to the concept of Spock influencing the Romulans to open up to   
   the Federation like China to Nixon.   
      
   Then have a force of Romulans led by senior members of the Tal'Shiar   
   that try to stop that.   
      
   The leader, and commander of a new secret Romulan ship they have   
   stolen?
