V'ger was only described as an "awesome third force" that had        attacked both the Klingons and the Big E.              I got to see the movie at a Showcase Cinema in Connecticut. But the        plot was so slow, and so boring in spots, that I actually fell asleep in        the theater during the sequence where the Big E penetrates the cloud to        confront the V'ger machine. Fortunately, a friend was there with me and        woke me up to see the rest fo the movie.              Interestingly, my mom, who had never seen any Star Trek before, went to        see it at some theater in New York and she fell in love with the ship.                            -- Steven L.       --- Synchronet 3.15a-Linux NewsLink 1.92-mlp       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
