I watched it a year or two ago. It didn't hold up as well as the TOS
films, but it was good enough to watch again, and yeah, it's
definitely the best of the TNG films by a long way.
I actually liked Insurrection better than most. I wasn't particularly
excited about seeing it, it seemed like just another episode, and I
had stopped watching TNG regularly by the end. But it was okay.
I actually liked Final Frontier better the last time I saw it than I
had originally. Of all the Trek movies, it would have done the best
on Mystery Science Theater. It's the campiest of the movies.
Laughing at a movie that's not meant to be laughed at is a lot more
entertaining than looking at your watch and wondering when it's going
   to be over.
