   Yes and no. Like most accolades, they give out so many of them that it has   
   now become rather meaningless. Instead of trawling through lists trying to   
   find 30 (or whatever) people to give this "honour" to every year, they   
   should only give it out when it's actually deserved.   
      
   In small countries like New Zealand it's become even more meaningless thanks   
   to minor celebrities, has-beens, and nobodies who are given knighthoods,   
   MBEs, etc. simply because thei can't find anyone else (they have a hard   
   enough job finding someone worthwhile to do a "This is Your Life" show   
   about, and usually end up with some idiot local sports celebrity who is
