   Especially given how Stewart started out with TNG.   
      
   He said later that he was so sure that he and TNG would flop, that for    
   the first six months of filming season 1, he kept a suitcase packed at    
   all times.  That way, as soon as he got fired (which he assumed was    
   inevitable), he could take the next plane home!
