   There is no rule saying he would have to use all SAG extras. Certainly   
   isn't one now. Just a certain percentage, it would have been less than   
   30% I'm guessing. The majority would have been non-union any way you   
   look at it.

   SAG is not a casting agency,  it is highly unlikely he would have   
   called SAG directly asking for 400 SAG extras when he only needed a   
   small percentage of them to be SAG.
