   Sounds like a some of those are script or acting errors, rather than    
   character flaws.  As for the Trill thing, the symbiote can look like any    
   species. HTF was she supposed to know he had a symbiote?! It's not    
   automatic that they get a symbiote; it's a particular honor bestowed on    
   the best and brightest.  Besides, the Trills in TNG looked entirely    
   different from DS9 on.  No doctor can know everything about all *humans*    
   much less alien species.  SHEESH.  The Worf thing was a total botch,    
   though.  If you're working on a patient, you should research as much as    
   possible, so in the case of an alien, she should have known that before    
   even considering letting him kill himself.  Ditto the Naked Time thing.
