   Remember, those were mostly staffers and fans getting to be on camera as    
   a thank you from Gene, who found a way around having to use all SAG    
   people (IIRC he called SAG the day before and said "I need 400 extras    
   tomorrow morning" and when SAG couldn't supply 'em, he was able to use    
   whoever he wanted).  Some of those alien heads might well have come with    
   the fans.
