   Your analogy between Data/B4 and a human being is flawed.  It might be   
   possible in a TNG universe to have a backup of Data or B4, and plug the   
   hardware containing Data or B4 into a new body.  That is not possible   
   with a human being in our reality.  If you plug the backup of Data or B4   
   into a new, android body, is the new combination not Data or B4? It is.   
   You'll have lost only the experiences that happened since the last   
   backup.   
      
   Like I said in the other post, I've never read, nor do I intend to read   
   the Orci comic.
