   And I hope it works out.   
   With a whole new timeline - there can indeed *exist* a Kirk that didn't have   
   to die in the Enterprise B / Nexus affair.  That allows a much older Shatner   
   to play some future version of Kirk and get away with it.   
      
   I just hope that version has the older Kirk looking at/still coveting "the   
   chair where you can make a difference".
