   Yeah, I've been caught in the middle of crap that that.  This one    
   asshole had several identities on Wiki.  He'd go in under one name and    
   make destructive changes, mostly eliminating outside links to anybody    
   but himself.  Then he'd do another revision that was reasonable.  THEN    
   he'd come in and attack the page and screw it up.  The moderators would    
   see this, and look for what seemed to be the last reasonable revision,    
   revert, and lock the page down.  Problem is, they'd be locking it down    
   to the version HE wanted in the first place, and all the screaming in    
   the world wouldn't do anything but get it locked down longer and harder.
