During the last season after they brought       in the Stevenses and some good writers, Enterprise turned into a very       good show. Now that was Star Trek the way it should have been. But the       first few seasons were literally wasted with the dumb story arcs that       covered whole seasons and trying to sneak in Next Gen characters like       the Ferengi, Risa, et al instead of getting back to the roots.              When they had featured the Andorians and Vulcans mixing it up, the       stuff of the early Federation, that was when Enterprise was living up       to its potential. But it took too long for Enterprise to find its       footing; when it did, too many people had already jumped ship.              Ron                            ---------       "My life is a Testament to all the things one can do-- when you don't       listen to other people."              -- Brian Walker --       --- Synchronet 3.15a-Linux NewsLink 1.92-mlp        * Origin: http://groups.google.com (1:2320/105.97)       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
