   Man, the fans went batty at Brooks' first Vegas con (2005)!  It was    
   crowded, and so hot in there, I nearly passed out! DS9 fans are even    
   more rabid than TOSers!  It was amazing.  They acted like he was the    
   Second Coming, I swear!  The applause was deafening, and lasted a good 5    
   minutes at least, when he walked on stage.  During his session, he said,    
   "Maybe I should do these more often" - yup, the shrieking deafened what    
   was left of my hearing.
