But would it have hurt to gather just a few laurel leaves?

With a big assist from the versatile Mr Leslie.

In a way, at least the writers were consistent about this. Every time
Scotty fancies himself a bonnie lass, he gets all stalkish.

I found her a bit too breathy and dramatic. But there was that funny
line Kirk said about her "Think of it as not losing an officer but
gaining....wait I'm losing an officer!" And there was something
entirely 60's sexist about it, the notion that Palamas was in Star
Fleet just so she could meet a man and settle down.
   > Villain of the Week: Michael Forest does a solid job as Apollo,
Solid indeed, considering what it could have been in the wrong hands.
Hell, imagine Shatner playing Apollo. Think Sargon.

Yeah it's good fun, they pretty much play it straight, unlike the
scenery chewing excess of "Plato's Stepchildren".
   I'll give it a 7 too.
