   Those Vulcans were sloppy socialists, not Libertarians! (In fact,   
   there was even an article in _Trek_ magazine which tried to make the   
   claim that it was inconsistent of Spock to say such a thing, because,   
   of course, the one true logical system of ethics was Objectivism.)   
   If Gene Roddenbery based anything on the ideas of Ayn Rand, it would   
   have been the Ferengi.
