   In "Tomorrow Is Yesterday," they beamed Captain Christopher out of his    
   fighter jet and materialized him in a standing position. I guess the    
   director of the episode decided that having Christopher materialize in a    
   sitting position and promptly fall on his derriere would be too    
   farcical.   
      
   And near the end of the episode, they beamed Christopher (while    
   standing) back into his fighter jet seat. I don't know how they could    
   have done otherwise: Tell Christopher to squat on the transporter pad    
   like he's going to the toilet?
