One bit of a downer about this episode is knowing that the Keeper
died. There are very few deaths in TAS (this might be the only one)
and it's of a character that we saw in TOS.

Kirk does talk a computer into submission, but his argument ("The show
must go on") certainly sounds logical enough, by Trek standards.

I liked it better live action, though granted Shore Leave was itself
very near to being a live action cartoon. It's hard to beat lines
like "What do you want, signs leading the way??" "Look, Doctor.
   Signs! Leading the way!"

One minor nit to pick, but if the Federation really has been using
this as a shore leave planet ever since Shore Leave, it's a bit hard
to believe that the Enterprise is the only ship there at the time.
This place should have longer lines than Disneyland.
