   If you're referring to the screens that ring the bridge over all the   
   workstations (including Spock's), Spock uses his to display a picture   
   of John Gill at the beginning of "Patterns of Force," and I think they   
   also use his station to display the image of the dead parents in   
   "Children Shall Lead," but by the time the series moved from pilot to   
   production they did seem to change over to having Spock mostly throw   
   stuff up on the main bridge screen and ended up not using those   
   overheads much except to display astronomy screensavers.  Can't say   
   that I blame them, either.  Looking up at a screen in that position   
   when you're sitting under it is murder on the neck muscles.
